New Dawn Greetings
Living Faith Church (a.k.a Winners’ Chapel Basorun) was planted in June 1994 by Pastor T. O. Aremu now Bishop Thomas Aremu and is the ministry’s headquarters in the West Region.
The Church started as a prayer group in Deacon Mosaku’s house at Olorombo, Ibadan with 8 members in the first week. The church later moved to a rented place at Oluwo nla at Mr Adeleye’s house now a Church 1994.
In 1996, the church acquired the current site from Lawyer Akinloye. Initially when the church site was just acquired, the church was using a portal cabin while the building construction of the church commenced. The currrent teens church was built within 1 month and using as the first church auditorium. In 1998, Pastor Thomas Aremu was transferred to Illorin.
Early 1999, 7 Pastors were ordained, Pastor Thomas Aremu and Pastor Mike Afolabi inclusive. Bishop Mike Afolabi was sent here as the Resident Bishop as a result of Bishop Thomas Aremu’s transfer.
The growth of the continued. October 2012, Bishop Thomas Aremu the planter of Living Faith Church Basorun came back as the Resident Bishop till date.
The mandate which God gave his servant, the Presiding Bishop (Bishop David O. Oyedepo) has continously been bring about undeniable proves till date in the lives of every attendee for about 4 decades now.
This is the mandate: “The hour has come to liberate the world from all oppressions of the devil through the preaching of the word of faith, and I am sending you to undertake this task.”
